In the name of Allah
In the final days of the lunar month
of Safar and in the wake of glorious mourning of the lovers of holy AhlulBayt
(a.s.) we have witnessed numerous tragedies, sufferings and bitter events for
Shiites in different countries, which led to the martyrdom of a group of Shiite
Muslims.
Last Saturday, 12 December 2015, a
bloody tragedy occurred in the city of Zaria, Nigeria, where a large number of
the followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.) were martyred and injured by army forces.
In another event in the town of
Nardaran, Azerbaijan, a group of mourners for Imam Hussein (a.s.) were
martyred, wounded, or arrested by police.
Yesterday in Pakistan, the criminal
hands of extremist terrorists killed a group of the followers of Ahlul Bayt
(a.s.) in Parachinar.
The ominous phenomenon of religious
violence and sectarian extremism has always been a tool for achieving the
filthy and inhumane goals of the arrogant powers and the international Zionism.
Fueling sectarian conflicts or
religious and regional wars have been a target for colonialists and the
international Zionism since long times examples of which we can see in the
ongoing events in Syria, Bahrain, Iraq, Yemen, Azerbaijan, Pakistan and
Nigeria, where proxy wars and repressive measures are carried out by the agents
of evil powers especially the United States and Great Britain. The old policy
of ‘divide and rule’ is a dirty instrument used by the United States, Great
Britain, and colonialists in the tumultuous region of Middle East.
Today, anti-human powers through
their support for the puppet agents and spies of Western countries and the
Zionist regime use the same tool by exploiting a bunch of ignorant, deluded and
insane Takfirist groups to kill innocent people violently and brutally or
destroy the infrastructures of countries under the cover of religious slogans.
While condemning these criminal and
terrorist acts, the Ahlulbayt World Assembly, due to its divine duty, urges all
personalities, leaders of Islamic countries, institutions, NGOs, Grand Ayatollahs,
Muslim scholars, lawyers, international organizations, human rights bodies, and
the United Nations and its Secretary-General to strongly denounce such brutal
attacks and take preventive measures in this relation so that the people of
countries may not be deprived of their civil and human rights. We also appeal
to all the above-mentioned to stop the tyrant governments from such anti-human
and violent acts against their people.
We further appeal to the
Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an extra-ordinary meeting of the
foreign ministers of member states to take fast and decisive measures in order
to prevent similar heinous and inhuman acts in future.

Ahlulbayt World Assembly
